What does 'annealed and pickled' actually guarantee?

Pickling removes the oxide scale after annealing, so the surface is clean and passivated — that matters for corrosion and for downstream welds. Annealing without pickling can leave scale that traps chlorides. Ask for both process steps and the final surface condition.
